Where else better to seek relief from the heatwave than the scorching sand, the mightily cold Atlantic, the lukewarm lemonade, the fried sunbathers and the fake coconut tree shower thingy on Coney Island and Brighton Beach.




And this was how far we had to travel (green arrow to red arrow) to get away from the madding crowds on Manhattan and spend some quiet, quality time with the madding crowds on Coney Island.
